Nokia N900 has released a whole new device that features the never used before on a cell phone Maemo operating system. Superseding all the other Nokia series cell phones, the N900 was launched on 2th September 2009 and is expected to be released by the end of this month. As already said it will be running the Maemo operating system that is Linux based. We can suppose that Nokia finally decided to catch the times and replace the glorious Symbian with a more advanced operating system. The N900 will also be the first Nokia device based upon the TI OMAP3 processor. As a big difference from the other preceding Nokia Internet Tablets, the Nokia N900 will be the first Maemo device to include phone functionality with a quad-band GSM and 3G UMTS ability. As other hardware it will include a 5 mega pixel camera, a portable media player, and an Internet browser and email client. A 3.5 inch resistive touch screen with a resolution of 800 × 480 pixel (WVGA, 267 dpi) will allow you to watch photos and movies in a whole relax while a slide-out keyboard will help you to write messages and emails with ease.
